it's been a while since i touch this blog, so good to be back and i really hope that i can manage my time well enough to post more often in this web since most people were asking to review more skincare reviews. i've been juggling between works, meeting and reviewing products, but i'll do my best.
Don't worry, i've been reviewing a lot of products and it's on process to be uploaded soon here.
i'll stop rambling now and get to our main topics here.
For you guys who's new to this community, let me tell you a little about my skin, it's definitely SENSITIVE, DEHYDRATED ( so it's oily but sometimes flaky skin from the outside ), and DEF ACNE PRONE SKIN. The main problem from all of it was actually having a Sensitive skin, that's the issue, so for you guys out there that's been struggling with those issues, we're buddies hahaha.
*i'm not a doctor nor an expert, people's skin type are all different, i'm here sharing my experience and review. so i hope all these stuff can work's their magic the same like what they've done to my skin.
To be honest, i've been wearing doctor's products and consuming doctor medicine for a year starting from February 2016 until March 2017, and i've been looking for great replacement for my skincare since i decided to stop fully for the doctor's stuff.
( i have cystic acne, the worst of the worst i guess i've tried tons of products to be honest, spending all my money and get nothing, and i'm desperate until i decided to go to doctor, so to be honest i've never used all this products for my cystic acne, but after the doctor treatment, i never had crazy hormonal acne partying on my face hahaha )

Meet all of my magic bottles, all of this things have their on purposes.
i don't use them all together, i exchanged every 1 week so that my skin are not used to them and they can really works their magic. Most issues with skincare is that everytime we feel comfortable with 1 products we're using it until one day we're like why is this thing not working ?
that's because your face were immune to those products. ( especially serum )
i have a regular skin care that i use since i stop the doctor treatment, but it's a basic skin care when my face were okay ( like no dryness, no acne, no white heads etc ) i
it start with a toner from Cle de beau for clarifying, then i use skincare booster from lamer ( the lotion ), then end with an emultion from cle de beau ( i have two of them, for day time with an spf of 20 and a night emulsion ).
But, these are the products i oftenly used when my skin need to be rescued.
Dear, Klairs Pure Vitamin C

This thing is a magic in a bottle, this is my 2nd bottle and never once this things failed me.
When it's the time of the months, this is the only products i used for 1-2 weeks in a row ( ONLY AT NIGHT, because it's quite a high consistency products it can be heavy to be used on a day time, especially when you used make up on an everyday basis. )
it doesn't broke me out, not even once. If i have an acne before i was using this, 2-3 days those acne will be less swollen then it'll dry and gone without leaving a mark ( WITH ONE CONDITION, DO NOT PICK ON THOSE ACNE ) * at least this is what happened to me, i cannot guarantee it will happened to every single person who use this product*
Doesn't dried up the skin, still moisturised the skin but not so moisturising if you have really dry skin. so i think it's suitable for all skin type but more to semi dry - combination? ( def, not drying but no so hydrating if you're looking for dry skin purposes)
i used 8-10 drops of this, used it from face to my neck.
i've recommend this to 6 of my friends and they love it and keep on purchasing
i bought mine from @beautyreadystock on instagram
IDR 459.000
Ratings : DEF 5/5
Pro :
- Suitable for acne prone skin
- A vitamin C products that doesn't stings on you skin, i've tried severals vit c products and it stings so bad and cause more acne to come and greet you the next morning hahaha ( it may feels warm for 3-5 sec but i'll be gone)
- Plastic bottle, so it's travel friendly
- Come with a pipe ( hygiene proposes )
Cons :
- They don't have stores in Indonesia, so Online shopping it is. hahahaha. ( there's a lot of online shop on instagram that sell this products you can find it in variety of price out there, from the cheapest until the craziest price u can find be a smart buyer : )
- doesn't really tone down my acne scar ( but works magic on acne and skin surface )
Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop

This is apparently my first bottle, and i can say so far i'm loving this products so bad. i only used this products in the morning if i'm too lazy to use an emultion or if i knew that i'll be spending my days outside in the sun ( since an emultion will still gives you a heavier consistency than this )
I thought when i bought this, this was an oil like Sunday Riley Luna, but i was wrong the consistency was water and after applying it feels like you're wearing nothing, and the magic that makes me WOWW was this things hydratessssss like an oil / cream / what every you name it. This products soaked in to the skin as soon you apply it to the skin.
Once my fiancé come to my apartment and said that his skin was so dry until it hurts, all i do is apply 12 drops to my hand and apply it to his face, after applying all he said was, " what was that did you put on my skin? the pain from dryness from his skin was gone "
i was not expecting that this products works so fast, but there's a fact that doesn't comes from me but others.
yes, the colour was blue but once you apply it to your skin it's like water, transparent. no colour no strong fragrance, no nothing just water with amazing ingredients in it.
I bought mine form @koreanbrand_skincare from Instagram

Shiseido White Lucent Micro targeting Spot Corrector

This product was hype long before i'm trying this, this is quite on the pricier side from Klairs. Can't say much, this thing definitely makes my face brighter, esp my acne spots (especially the red one ) was slowly disappearing, a whitening products that didn't break me out at all, non drying definitely on the hydrating side, i only use this at night ( and again i didn't use it with my Klairs, i used it all products alone i didn't mix them all together )
packaging was nice, not heavy.
For acne scar this things does work amazingly, and def sensitive skin best friend. The consistency it self was liquid and quite runny, one pumps can be used for the whole face.

- Expensive
Babor Hydra Plus Active Fluids

Dehydrated skin peeps, this is your best friend. i've been using this since i'm back from Labuan Bajo ( being in the sun too much makes your skin gets a sun burnt even though you've used sun screen on your face, it will still give you a flaky skin after the trip )
This is for a dehydrated skin, What's the difference with dry skin ?
Dry means Dry from the inside and outside, you are lack of oil, so your face didn't produce normal oil from the inside from inside your face to the surface, you need a heavy duty moisturiser and this.
But dehydrated skin ( mostly happens to people who has oily skin, acne prone skin or a person who didn't drink 8L of mineral water), was dry on the surface but still producing an amout of oil that's actually too much on the skin and dead skin cell was blocking the oil to come out from the pores and the oil stays there and creates acne / white heads / black heads.
You need to Exfoliate, 1 times in 2 weeks ( if you have sensitive skin like mine, and i use Fresh sugar face polish apparently this is the only exfoliant that's not too harsh on my skin ) then i use my babor at night for 3-5 days until i feel my face have enough moisture.
I'm not using this only when my skin was dehydrated but also when it's dry like painful dry ( hormonal problem, only couple of times)

i bought mine from Jayanata Tunjungan plaza, but you can find this at Jayanata Jalan Mawar / Jayanata Pakuwon mall.
IDR 400.000-sh
you got 7 bottles of it.
Ratings : 4.5/5
Pro :
- Suitable for acne prone skin , sensitive and dry skin
- Does plump up the skin
- Liquid consistency
- Absorb quickly
Cons :
- Def. not travel friendly bring mine to travel and broke 2 bottles.
- Have quite strong fragrance to it
So, that's all for today's review.
The key to everything is KNOW YOUR SKIN, KNOW YOUR PROBLEM.
You need to keep everything in balance, not too dry not too oily. don't used a serum straight everyday until you face get tired of it. Learn about your skin, try and fail try and fail until you know what does your skin wants.
When it's oily doesn't mean that you can skip moisturiser, it's the opposite. you need to give your skin a moisturiser so you know know that it doesn't need to reproduce more oil. exfoliate every 1-2 times in a months so that you skin can regenerate new skin cell and your serums or other skin products can enter 100% until the bottom of your skin.
Hope all this info could help you figure out your skin type and how to deal with them, and i hope all of this products saves your skin like they saved mine.
